FOUNDER OF THE COMPANY
Sun East Asia Transport, Inc. or SEATI was founded by Engr. Virgilio S. Veneracion. His interest in customs brokerage started sometime in 1970’s during college when one of his classmates drives a different car everyday to school, and each car he drives matches the color of his polo shirt. He asked his classmate about his dad’s profession, and his classmate proudly said “My dad is a customs broker”. From that day, He shifted college course to BS Commerce major in Taxation to become a customs broker. Engr. Veneracion got his customs broker’s license in 1976, from there he started his career as a customs broker. He was one of the directors and former Executive Vice-President of one of the largest freight forwarding company in the Philippines until 1991 to form SEATI. Engr. Veneracion is the director of various freight forwarding associations in the Philippines. His wide experience in freight forwarding and customs brokerage has enabled him to help the industry to Engr.
